Ingredients

1 1/2 cups ripe peaches diced (about four small/medium peaches)

3/4 cup cherry tomatoes cut into quarters

1 fresh jalapeño, finely chopped  (seeds, stems and veins removed)

3 tablespoons fresh basil leaves,  coarsely chopped (stems removed)

2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

½ teaspoon raw organic honey (optional)

¼ teaspoon sea salt

 

 Preparation

Toss all of the ingredients together in a bowl and serve

May be kept in the refrigerator in a glass container before serving

 

Serving Suggestions for Spicy Peach Salsa

Use as a garnish or marinade for fish, chicken, meats (similar to chutney)

As a dip with chips, crackers or sticks of jicama, celery and cucumber

Great with sliced ripe avocado
